The end of the school year is coming up fast. We have been working really hard on our presentation speeches and on our autobiography books. I hope that the students are enjoying creating books about themselves. This is one of my favorite projects because the kids really become creative and become totally engrossed in the project. I can’t wait until I see how they turn out.

Language Arts Preview
We will be reading the Edgar Allan Poe poems: “The Raven” and “Annabel Lee” soon. We will be studying symbolism, personification and hyperbole. Eventually, we will write our own Poe-style poetry.
